Set after the events of Halo: Combat Evolved, this story follows the fate of the Mona Lisa, a UNSC prison transport vessel drifting near the shattered remains of Alpha Halo. When a stray Flood spore finds its way aboard, the infection spreads rapidly, turning the ship into a nightmarish infestation. As a surviving security officer, the player awakens to chaos—most of the crew and inmates are dead, mutated, or on the loose. Trapped aboard a failing prison ship infested with Flood horrors, the player must navigate the wreckage, uncover what happened, and find a way to escape before becoming part of the nightmare.
